Numanac's mobile application is live on iOS. Farm managers, PCAs, and field teams can now log observations, retrieve records, and run Alma from a device built for the field not adapted for it. Offline logging is in development: observations captured without connectivity will sync automatically when it returns. No field location will fall outside the operational record.

Why Web First, Then Mobile

Numanac launched on the web deliberately. Releasing across browser environments before committing to native builds meant the platform could be tested across device types, operating systems, and field network conditions at the same time validation that would have taken far longer through a single-platform release. That phase is complete.

The mobile applications are built for what the web version proved the platform needed to be: faster, more responsive, and native to the devices field teams already carry. Seamless camera and microphone access through the device was critical, along with an interface designed for people who are moving – all of which are augmented by a native mobile app.

Offline Logging: The Next Feature

Connectivity cannot be assumed in the field. Remote blocks, cold storage facilities, and processing environments all produce operational context that currently falls outside any digital record not because teams aren't observing, but because no system is available to capture it.

Offline logging is Numanac's active development priority. The capability will allow observations to be captured in full: structured, tagged, and queued without a live connection, syncing automatically when connectivity is restored. The operational record follows the operation, not the signal, which is how we’ll help farmers build their data legacy.
