We at Numanac Corporation (“Numanac,” “we,” “our,” “us”) value your privacy and are committed to protecting your information. Our goal in this Privacy Policy is to inform you about how Numanac collects, uses, and discloses certain personal information obtained through our website (“Site”), which is located at https://www.numanac.ai/ as well as information that we process as part of offering you our services (collectively with the Site, the “Services”).
This Policy applies to any information we collect based on your use of Numanac’s Platform. It does not apply to information collected by us offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by Numanac or any third party (including our affiliates and subsidiaries); or any third party (including our affiliates and subsidiaries), including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or through the Platform.
Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your Personal Information and how we will treat it. By using our Services, you are agreeing to the terms of this Policy.
Our Terms of Use govern your use of our Services and establish the legal agreement between you and Numanac. The Terms include important provisions about acceptable use, content rights, billing, dispute resolution through arbitration, and limitations on our liability. Although the Terms do not form part of this Privacy Policy, they are an important document that you should review before using our Services, as they may affect how your data and content are used.
Information We Collect and How We Collect It
We collect several types of information from and about users of our Platform including:
Personal Information: Information that identifies you, such as name, postal address, email address, telephone number, job description, or other identifiers
Non-personal Information: Information that cannot identify you, like preferences and general usage data
Technical Information: Information about your internet connection, the device you use to access our Platform, IP address, browser type, usage patterns, and other technical or contextual information
Sensitive Information: Certain states have laws about sensitive data (e.g., racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, etc.). While we currently do not collect such data, we will only do so with explicit consent when required
Usage Data: Usage Data includes data we collect or create regarding your use of and interaction with the Services, including your location, frequency, and duration of interactions; the manner in which you use, customize, or interact with the Services; and aggregated and anonymized User Data that does not readily identify you or any third party.
This information collectively constitutes your "User Data" and “Usage Data” as defined in our Terms of Use.
Information You Provide to Us. We collect Personal Information when you fill out forms, create an Account, provide feedback, or otherwise communicate with us. This information may include:
Information that you provide by filling in forms on our Platform. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our Platform, subscribing to our service, providing feedback to Numanac or its Platform, or requesting further services.
Records and copies of your correspondence, including email address if you contact us through our Platform.
Your responses to forms and surveys that may be made available through our Platform or that we may ask you to complete for research purposes.
Uploaded data, such as PDF and CSV documents and .txt files
Details of transactions you carry out through our Platform and of the fulfillment of your orders. You may be required to provide financial information before placing an order through our Platform.
Your input, such as search queries and prompts made to the Platform, along with the Platform’s corresponding output that is created in response.
Information about your interactions with links within our Platform, including which links you click on and when these interactions occur.
Your interactions with our feedback mechanisms, including source evaluations through upvotes, downvotes, and source recommendations, answer feedback, and general feedback.
If you provide us with personal information about someone other than yourself (for example, an employee, contractor, or collaborator), you are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to provide that information to us, including providing any required notices and obtaining any required consents.
When you use our Platform, we may also collect information automatically to help improve user experience and functionality, including:
Details of your visits to our Platform, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and resources that you access and use on the Platform.
Information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, and browser type.
The technologies we use for this automatic data collection may include:
Cookies (or browser cookies). Cookies are small text files that may be created on your device when you interact with online tools and services. You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser. However, if you select this setting, you may be unable to access certain parts of our Platform. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you direct your browser to our Platform.
Web Beacons. Pages of our Platform and our emails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons that permit Numanac to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related website statistics
We do not collect personal information automatically, but we may tie non-personal information collected automatically to personal information about you that we collect from other sources or that you provide to us. Web browsers often include settings that can enable you to transmit a "Do Not Track" signal when you visit various websites. Certain browsers transmit Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signals. We currently do not recognize GPC signals. Like many websites, we currently do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals received from browsers.
All information we collect will be used to better tailor Platform features and content for you.
We provide Personal Information to third parties only as described in the 'Disclosure of Your Information' section below and in accordance with your chosen account type’s data usage preferences.
How We Use Your Information
The purposes for which we use your information include to:
Provide you with our Services, for example responding to your queries
Respond to your questions or requests concerning the Services;
Fulfill the terms of any agreement you have with us;
Fulfill your requests for our Services or otherwise complete a transaction that you initiate;
Send you information about our Services and other topics that are likely to be of interest to you, including newsletters, updates, or other communications, including promotional emails;
Train and improve our AI models and algorithms using your User Data, including usage patterns, feedback, and interactions with our Services;
Deliver confirmations, account information, notifications, and similar operational communications;
Improve your user experience and the quality of our products and Services;
Comply with legal and/or regulatory requirements;
Aggregate and deidentify information;
Benchmark results for our customers;
Analyze how visitors use the Services and various Services features, including to count and recognize visitors to the Services;
Create new products and Services; and
Conduct internal business operations, including customer support, accounting, billing, quality assurance, staff training, business analytics, and administrative functions necessary to operate our Services
Process certain user inputs (e.g., prompts, text, voice transcripts, and related metadata) through third-party AI inference services (e.g., response generation, summaries, and extractions) solely to provide our Services.
Collect, generate, and use Usage Data for product development, system improvement (including machine learning, algorithm, and model training), data analytics, data science, research and development, and user support
Our legal bases for processing your personal information are: 1) our legitimate interest in running and maintaining our business; 2) performance and fulfillment of our contracts; 3) your consent; and 4) compliance with our legal obligations. In many instances, more than one of these legal bases apply to the processing of your personal information.
Disclosure of Your Information
We may disclose de-identified, encrypted, or aggregated information about our users without restriction. We will not attempt to reidentify any individual from de-identified or aggregated data, and we require third parties with whom we share such data to agree not to attempt reidentification. Such information does not identify you or your operation. We may also disclose personal information that we collect or you provide in the following circumstances:
Affiliates and Subsidiaries: To our affiliates and subsidiaries, consistent with this Privacy Policy.
Service Providers: To contractors, service providers, and other third parties who perform services on our behalf (such as hosting, analytics, security, customer support, AI inference services, and payment processing), and who are contractually obligated to process personal information only for authorized purposes and to maintain confidentiality and security.
Business Transfers: To a buyer, successor, or other transferee in connection with a merger, acquisition, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or sale of some or all of Numanac’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding.
At Your Direction or for a Requested Purpose.: To fulfill a purpose for which you provide the information or when you instruct us to share it, such as sharing records, reports, or outputs with collaborators, consultants, enterprise partners, or other designated recipients.
With Your Consent: With your consent or at your request.
Legal and Safety Reasons: To comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our agreements; or to protect the rights, property, safety, and security of Numanac, our users, or others.
Marketing Communications: We may use service providers to assist with our own marketing communications. We do not sell identifiable personal information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes. Where required by law, you may opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time.
Plan-Based Data Use Preferences
The scope of any disclosure of User Data depends on the account type through which the data is provided and any applicable written enterprise or master services agreement between you and Numanac ('Enterprise Agreement')."
Standard Accounts
For users accessing the Services through standard accounts (accounts that are not governed by an Enterprise Agreement), Numanac may:
Use User Data to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services
Use de-identified and aggregated User Data, including Usage Data and derived insights, to develop, train, test, and improve our products, services, and AI systems
Share de-identified and aggregated data with trusted third parties for purposes such as research, benchmarking, analytics, and product development, provided that such data does not reasonably identify any individual, farm, or operation. All such use and sharing is subject to safeguards designed to prevent re-identification and misuse.
Enterprise Accounts
For users accessing the Services through an Enterprise Account (governed by a written Enterprise Agreement), use of User Data is governed by the applicable Enterprise Agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
Numanac may use User Data to provide, operate, and support the Services and to meet legal, security, and compliance obligations
Any external sharing of User Data, including in de-identified or aggregated form, will occur only as permitted by the applicable Enterprise Agreement
Numanac does not sell identifiable User Data
In the event of a conflict between this Privacy Policy and an Enterprise Agreement, the Enterprise Agreement controls. Customers interested in discussing an Enterprise Agreement may contact us at support@numanac.com. Submission of an inquiry does not guarantee eligibility for, or the execution of, an Enterprise Agreement.
Data Provided During Demos, Pilots, or Evaluations
If you provide User Data to Numanac outside of an authenticated account or subscription (e.g., during pilots, demos, or evaluations), such data will be treated as Standard Account data and you grant Numanac the rights applicable to Standard Accounts as described above. We recommend creating an Account to control your data usage preferences.
Effect of Account Changes
If you change account types or operate under multiple account relationships (for example, as both an individual user and an enterprise user), the applicable data-use terms will apply to User Data in accordance with the context in which that data is provided.
Usage Data
As described in our Terms of Use and outlined above, we collect, generate, and use Usage Data through the Services. Usage Data includes:
Information about how you and your Authorized Users interact with the Services, including location, frequency, and duration of interactions
The manner in which you use, customize, or interact with the Services
Aggregated, anonymized, and de-identified information derived from your User Data that does not readily identify you or any third party
Subject to any applicable Enterprise Agreement, Numanac owns Usage Data and may use it for:
Product development and improvement
Machine learning, algorithm, and model training
Analytics and data science research
Benchmarking and research and development
User support and service optimization
For Enterprise Account holders: Usage Data collection and use may be modified by your Enterprise Agreement.
Data Retention
We retain identifiable Personal Information for only as long as necessary to provide our Services to you, or for other legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes, ensuring security, or complying with laws. Upon Account deletion, we will delete or de-identify your identifiable Personal Information, subject to legally required retention periods.
We retain a perpetual license to use aggregated, anonymized, and de-identified data derived from your User Data for analytics, research, product improvement, and model training, as described in our Terms of Use. This anonymized data does not identify you, your specific farm, or your operation.
When we destroy your personal information, we do so in a way that prevents that information from being restored or reconstructed. The length of time we retain Personal Information depends on a number of factors, such as:
Our purpose for processing the data;
The quantity, nature, and sensitivity of the information;
The potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure;
Any relevant legal requirements
Effect of Account Changes
If you change account types or operate under multiple account relationships (for example, as both a consultant and an enterprise user), the applicable data-use terms will apply to User Data in accordance with the context in which that data is provided.
Your Privacy Rights
If you want to learn more about the personal information that Numanac has about you, or you would like to update, change, or delete that information, please contact us by email at support@numanac.com. We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
You may opt out of receiving marketing emails from us by following the instructions in those emails or by emailing us at support@numanac.com.
If you are a resident of a jurisdiction with an applicable data privacy law, you may have certain rights in relation to your personal information. For example, you may have the right to:
Access your Personal Information and information relating to how it is processed.
Delete your personal information from our records.
Update or correct your Personal Information.
Transfer your Personal Information to a third party (right to data portability).
Restrict how we process your Personal Information.
Withdraw your consent—where we rely on consent as the legal basis for processing
Object to how we process your Personal Information.
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of the rights listed above, please contact us via email at support@numanac.com. We will respond to your request as soon as reasonably possible and within the timeframe required under applicable law. We will allow you to appeal any decision we make in response to such requests in accordance with applicable law. Appeals may be submitted to support@numanac.com with the subject line “Appeal of Decision Related to Privacy Rights Request.” Prior to complying with your request, we will first verify your identity by comparing the information you provide with the information we have on file for you. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights, though in some cases we may not be able to continue providing the Services if the requested processing is necessary to provide them.
You may authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf. To designate an agent, please provide a written and signed document by both you and the agent that authorizes the agent to act on your behalf. You may also use a power of attorney. We will still require you to provide information to allow us to reasonably verify that you are the person about whom we collected personal information.
You can review and change your personal information by logging into the Platform and visiting your account profile page.
Output may not always be accurate, and you should not rely on Numanac’s output as a sole source of truth or as a substitute for professional advice. If you notice that Numanac output contains factually incorrect information and would like to request a correction or removal, you can send these requests to support@numanac.com for consideration.
Privacy Rights for California Residents
This Privacy Policy complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), which requires that we provide California residents with notice that you have the right to:
opt-out of the sale of personal information or its sharing with third parties
know when and how personal information is collected, disclosed or sold,
request to access, correct, or delete of personal information, and
be treated without discrimination should you exercise these rights.
More information regarding the sources from which we collect personal information can be found above in the section titled “Information We Collect and How We Collect It”; business and commercial purposes for which we collect your personal information can be found above in the section titled “How We Use Your Information.” Categories of recipients with whom personal information is shared can be found in the section above titled 'Disclosure of Your Information.' For Standard Account holders, sharing de-identified and aggregated information with third-party researchers and partners as described above may constitute 'sharing' under California law. You may adjust your data usage preferences by contacting support@numanac.com or by upgrading to an Enterprise Account. The Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, applications, or services that are not owned or controlled by Numanac, including social media platforms, payment providers, and other third-party tools. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and Numanac is not responsible for their privacy practices or content. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access.

International Users
The information that we collect through or in connection with the Services is transferred to and processed in the United States for the purposes described above. Numanac may subcontract the processing of your data to, or otherwise share your data with, affiliates or third parties in the United States or countries other than your country of residence. The data protection laws in these countries may be different from those in your country of residence. By using the Site or by providing any personal or other information to us, you expressly consent to such transfer and processing.
Data Security
We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology or similar encryption methods.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where you have chosen a password for access to certain parts of our Platform, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
While we use commercially reasonable security measures to protect your personal information, no security measures are entirely effective and Internet communications may have inherent insecurities. As such, we cannot make representations or warranties regarding the security offered in respect of our Platform.
Children’s Privacy
Our Services are intended for users aged 13 and older. Users under 18 must have permission from their parent or guardian to use our Services. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 13, or an individual between 13 and 18 who lacks a supervising parent or legal guardian, please contact us at support@numanac.com.

Numanac keeps its privacy policy under regular review and places any updates on our Site. Please review this page periodically to ensure you are aware of any changes.
